Archäologisches Zentrum Hitzacker

This open-air museum in Hitzacker brings the Bronze Age to life. Across 15,000 square metres and 40 stations stand three reconstructed longhouses, a burial hut and a pit house, based on local finds. One longhouse holds an exhibition on life 3,000 years ago. Visitors can watch and try activities such as bronze casting, bread baking, fire striking, spinning and weaving.
