Inside Schloss Pragstein, this museum traces the history of pharmacy in Austria and shows the apothecary's work in the laboratory. Around 1,600 items fill roughly 200 square metres. The core is the collection of the Aichberger pharmacist family of Mauthausen, which especially shows how small country pharmacies developed. It opened in 2007.
