Westfälisches Glockenmuseum Gescher
Gescher, Nordrhein-Westfalen
Around 1,000 bells, little bells and cattle bells fill this museum in Gescher, among them two from Roman times. The collection sits in a listed former police station from 1902, extended in 2010 with a large exhibition hall. A reconstructed workplace shows what a bell founder did, and the museum's own foundry is used for demonstrations.
