Waffenmuseum Suhl

This specialist museum in the middle of Suhl traces how handheld firearms developed technically. It occupies an old malt house built in 1668 right beside the river Lauter, a three-wing building with vaulted cellars, a solid stone base, a timber-framed upper floor and a steep roof. The house has served as a weapons museum since the early 1970s.
