In Wellheim's former gatehouse, 13 display cases cover the history of the town and its surroundings. The tour starts with tools and products of the Konstein glassworks, then moves on to geology, landscape history, small dioramas of local nature, and prehistory. Bronze Age pottery shards, stone tools, arrowheads and a small adze of green nephrite come from the rock above Aicha, once a hilltop settlement.
