Südharzer Eisenhüttenmuseum und Königshütte

Königshütte in Bad Lauterberg began in 1733 as an ironworks with a foundry and is now an industrial monument of national importance. The ironworks museum in the former assay house tells the story of iron in the southern Harz. A few buildings date from around 1733, most from the early 19th century.
