Stadtmuseum Hofheim am Taunus

Art, Roman archaeology and local history share this museum on the edge of Hofheim's old town, on the grounds of a former Electoral Mainz estate. The permanent displays cover Hanna Bekker vom Rath and the artists' circle of the Blue House, the Romans in Hofheim, and the town's past, including the leather industry of the Lorsbach valley. It occupies a protected late 18th-century house with a mansard roof, extended by a modern annex.
