Stadtmuseum Freising

On Marienplatz, Freising's town museum tells the city's history inside the Baroque Asam building, a former bishops' college. The collection goes back to 1890, and the exhibition space is compact, at around 250 square metres. The school's old detention cell, now used as a store, still carries Baroque graffiti.
