Stadt- und Bädermuseum Bad Doberan

Housed in the neo-Gothic Möckelhaus villa, this museum traces how Doberan and nearby Heiligendamm rose as the summer seat of the Mecklenburg dukes and the site of Germany's first seaside resort. Furniture, fashion, prints and local anecdotes bring more than 200 years of town and bathing history to life. It stands about 300 metres from Doberan Minster and has step-free access.
