Skansen im. Józefa Żaka w Zawoi Markowej

This small open-air museum on the Markowa Rola meadow in Zawoja shows how highlanders of the Babia Góra area built and lived. It has three timber dwellings, one from the early 1800s and two from the early 1900s, plus a wayside chapel, a smithy and a cellar with a granary. Together they introduce the traditional material culture of the Babia Góra people.
