Sensenmuseum Geyerhammer

A former scythe works on the Alm river shows how scythe smiths worked and lived. This open-air museum in Scharnstein stands where scythes were forged from the late 16th century. The small workshops grew into the largest scythe maker in Austria-Hungary, until production ended in 1970.
