Schwälmer Dorfmuseum Holzburg e.V.

This village museum in Holzburg presents the culture of the Schwalm region. Its heart is the Schwalm costume with its colourful and white embroidery, whose many stitching techniques are known well beyond the area. In the Blue Hall, 52 costume dolls illustrate life from cradle to grave. Farm tools, kitchen and storage items and Schwalm furniture show everyday life in earlier centuries.
