Rotkreuz-Museum Salzburg

A look at the history of rescue services, with display cases full of exhibits and a fleet of its own: bicycles, two wheeled stretchers and twelve Red Cross vintage vehicles. The museum on Sterneckstraße traces back to Europe's first rescue museum, founded in 1929, destroyed in the war and reopened in 1979. Entry is free, by arrangement.
