Reichskammergerichtsmuseum

Wetzlar was the last seat of the Imperial Chamber Court, and this museum explains how the highest court of the Holy Roman Empire was organised and worked. Four rooms on the first floor of the Avemann House, a town palace, set out the legal system of the Empire and look at the court's work and its staff. On show are original pictures, furniture, sculptures and printed works from the period.
