Phänomenta Bremerhaven

This hands-on science center fills a former spice mill in Bremerhaven's fishing port. More than 80 experiment stations let visitors try out science and technology for themselves, and one favourite simulates an elevator ride down to 5,000 metres. It suits school groups, teenagers and families, and is run by volunteers.
