Swabian-Alemannic carnival comes to life here in 380 life-size figures, mostly from Baden-Württemberg and German-speaking Switzerland, wearing the costumes and carved masks of the guilds. The museum sits in three hemispherical brine tanks from a former saltworks of around 1830. Outside stands the Narretarium, a dome with a 360-degree cinema.
