Muzeum Żołnierzy Wyklętych i Więźniów Politycznych PRL

This history museum, still being developed, occupies the former Mokotów prison at Rakowiecka 37, a site tied to the repression that followed the Second World War. It gathers mementos of the anti-communist underground and the soldiers known as the Cursed Soldiers: clandestine press, organisational papers, leaflets, newspapers and prison clothing. Items used by the communist security service, such as a mini tape recorder, shields, helmets and uniforms, are part of the collection.
