Muzeum Ziemi Dobrzyńskiej w Rypinie

The museum in Rypin begins its story with excavations at Starorypin: the archaeological exhibition traces the town's history from the early Middle Ages through finds from that site. A second permanent display looks at schooling in the Dobrzyń Land from the late 19th century to 1970. The collection grew out of a memorial room set up in the former Domu Kaźni, and it is a good place to get to know the history of the town and its surroundings.
