Muzeum Treblinka

This memorial museum documents two German Nazi camps that operated near Kosów Lacki during the occupation: the Treblinka I forced-labour camp and the Treblinka II extermination camp, where Jews were murdered between 1942 and 1943. For some twenty years after the war the sites were left unmarked. It is a place for sober reflection, and a visit calls for time and quiet.
