Muzeum Towarzystwa Jezusowego Prowincji Polski Południowej

Run by the Jesuits in Stara Wieś, this museum shows sacred art and decorative crafts from the 16th to 20th centuries. The permanent display includes oil paintings, sculpture, goldsmiths' work, handicrafts and a collection of liturgical vestments. The collection began with a charred fragment of a painting from the local church, destroyed by fire in 1968. Among its key pieces is the oldest dated copy of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa.
