Muzeum Regionalne w Opocznie

Set in Opoczno's fourteenth-century castle, built under Casimir the Great, this regional museum explores the culture of the Opoczno area: village buildings, folklore, colourful costumes and folk crafts. The ethnographic collections cover folk art, farming and trades, and there is also a section on archaeology and coins. Some items came from the national museums in Warsaw and Poznań, others from local people.
