Muzeum Lniarstwa im. Filipa de Girarda w Żyrardowie

Housed in the former printing hall of Żyrardów's linen works, this museum follows flax from yarn to finished cloth. Dozens of machines fill the halls, including jacquard looms and the equipment used to finish and print fabric. The machinery still works and can be set running during a visit. Look out for the more than 600 huge screen-printing stencils and the exceptionally long flatbed printing machine. A small zoo sits beside the museum.
