Muzeum Historyczne w Białymstoku

This museum tells the story of Białystok and the Podlasie region through archives, historic images and the everyday craftsmanship of town life. Its realia collection holds some 8,000 items, from furniture and tableware to paintings, the oldest being 16th-century pieces of weaponry. Worth seeking out are the collection of Tatar settlement memorabilia, including muhirs, chamails and Korans, and a numismatic cabinet of 20,000 coins, medals and securities.
