Muzeum Fotografii w Zamościu

This private collection, opened in 2015 by a Zamość photographer and lover of old photography, shows how pictures used to be made. You will see vintage cameras, light meters, flashes, enlargers and darkroom equipment, plus several thousand old photographs, including cardboard cabinet cards and tintypes. The oldest items date from the 1850s, and many pictures come from prewar Zamość photographers. A column-shaped photoplastikon with 58 stereoscopic views is also on show.
