This open-air museum stretches 1.5 kilometers along the Trattenbach stream, with original workshops where pocket knives are still made by traditional methods. The machines are still driven by water power. Knife-making in Trattenbach goes back some 500 years, and the craft is recognized as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.
