Museumkrems

A former Dominican monastery from the 13th century on the Körnermarkt houses this museum, along with its baroque courtyard, monastery church and historic wine cellar. It shows crafts, sculpture and paintings, including works by the baroque painter Kremser Schmidt. Wine growing is a theme, with the oldest still-active vintners' guild in Central Europe and the winemakers' work in the 19th century.
