Museum Uranbergbau

This museum is devoted to uranium mining in Saxony and Thuringia, once among the largest producers in the world. It presents the mining technology and the social history of the people who worked in it. It is the only uranium mining museum in Germany, and the guided tours given by the museum's own staff are especially worthwhile.
