Museum St. Johann in Tirol

Behind the baroque parish church, at the end of the pedestrian zone, this museum presents chosen themes from the history of St. Johann in Tirol. A main exhibition is devoted to the Kaisergebirge, its myths and the experience of the mountains. It occupies a house from 1724, once a priests' correction house, restored thoroughly in 1994.
