Museum Nienburg

Nienburg's regional museum covers the history and archaeology of the town and surrounding district, spread over several sites in the town. Permanent displays range from the Old Stone Age and the Old Saxon burial ground at Liebenau to industrial heritage and New Objectivity art. There is also a Biedermeier garden, a lapidarium and the Lower Saxon Asparagus Museum, devoted to local asparagus growing. The Fresenhof, a building from the 16th century, is one of the locations.
