Museum „Leben am Meer“

The tower of the old Peldemühle windmill in Esens houses this local history museum, and the mill's outbuildings were later added to it. It traces how the Harlingerland was settled and follows the story of the town of Esens. Many of the exhibits began as loans and donations from local people.
