Museum in der Remise

The listed carriage house of the former forestry office, next to the town hall, holds historical objects from Bad Harzburg. Under the roof are finds from excavations at the old Harzburg castle on the Burgberg, while the corridor covers the town's history and regional mining. There is also a mineral and fossil room with Harz rocks and Jurassic fossils, and a room of items from Schreiberhau. Entry is free.
