Museum im Amtshausschüpfla

Set in Frauenaurach, now a district of Erlangen, this local history museum shows how people in the area lived about a hundred years ago. A kitchen, parlour and bedroom are furnished as they were, and an old shoemaker's workshop stands in for the village trades that shaped daily life. The story it tells runs from the days of the Dominican convent through the margraves' era to the 1920s.
