Hops and beer are the subject in Spalt's former granary, a huge half-timbered building 36 metres long, 13 wide and 20 high. Across two floors you explore the town on a three-dimensional map, follow the hop year in a panoramic cinema, step into a walk-in brewing kettle and discover other countries' beer culture at a media table. There is a tasting bar and a shop with regional products. The museum won the Bavarian Museum Prize in 2017.
