Museum Grafschaft Dassel

A timber-framed house on the Spüligbach stream, right next to the Neimke bright-forge, holds this local museum on the history of the County of Dassel and the town itself. The house was gutted and rebuilt as several open, connected levels, so you walk through a modern exhibition set inside an old shell. It opened in 2007.
