Museum der Strohverarbeitung

In a former barn in Twistringen, 850 square metres hold historic machines, tools and equipment from the town's straw-processing workshops and factories. The displays follow 300 years of working with straw, including the upheaval that set in from the 1960s. A reconstructed home workstation shows how the work was done, and visitors can be served refreshments on the museum's threshing floor.
