Museum der Stadt Hagenow

Everyday life in the Griese Gegend region, from the Stone Age to recent times, is the subject here. The exhibitions on local and regional history are spread across a farmer-townsman's house from 1828 and several residential and outbuildings. The museum also looks after the Old Synagogue, likewise built in 1828, with its former school and community house and a carriage shed. It traces Jewish life in Hagenow and western Mecklenburg.
