Museum der Stadt Geretsried

The museum traces Geretsried's path from a small dairy farm to the founding of the municipality in 1950. One focus is the Nazi era and the two armaments works, DAG and DSC. Another section deals with flight and expulsion and looks back at the settlers' old homelands, from Egerland instrument making and Danube Swabian wine growing to Upper Silesian mining.
