Münchner Kaiserburg
München, Bayern
Beneath the Gothic vaults of the Alten Hof in Munich, a permanent exhibition traces the history of the building, the city of Munich and the Wittelsbach family. On the ground floor, an info point advises on around 1,300 museums and palaces across Bavaria, with personal advice and a reference library. It makes a useful starting point for planning a trip through the region.
