Militärhistorisches Museum Flugplatz Berlin-Gatow

Set on a former Luftwaffe and Royal Air Force airfield in southwest Berlin, this museum traces military aviation in Germany from 1884 to the present. Aircraft, helicopters and air-defence systems stand alongside uniforms, documents and equipment. The airfield's years under the RAF are covered too, and many of the aircraft are displayed outdoors on the apron.
