Since 1973 the house in Mauersberg where the brothers Rudolf and Erhard Mauersberger were born has served as a museum to their memory. Rudolf was Kreuzkantor in Dresden and Erhard Thomaskantor in Leipzig, and the museum follows the lives and work of these two church musicians.
