LVR-Industriemuseum Solingen – Gesenkschmiede Hendrichs

For a hundred years, from 1886 to 1986, scissor blanks were forged here and partly finished on site. The old drop forge in Solingen-Merscheid is preserved as an industrial museum and shows how cutlery and blades were made in the Solingen trade. It is an anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
