Kurioseum

Purgstall an der Erlauf, Niederösterreich

A hands-on museum run along the lines of a science centre, the Kurioseum in Purgstall an der Erlauf lets children and adults try out physics for themselves. Topics include light, acoustics, optical illusions, mechanics, astronomy, optics and technology. You can see coloured shadows and bent light, or the Bernoulli ball floating in mid-air. Skill and humour are part of the mix, and the rooms are step-free.
