Heimatstube Derenburg

In a villa with five rooms, this local museum shows how Derenburg families lived from the late 19th to the mid-20th century, with household items from washing rollers to coal-fired kitchen stoves, and old craftsmen's tools. Other themes include local farming, former factories, models of the castle and town wall, and the Second World War. The Strohkopf figure greets visitors.
