Heimatmuseum Bützow und Gedenkstätte

Local history of Bützow and its surroundings is on show in the Krummes Haus, a listed building on Schloßplatz. The museum dates back to the 1920s and grew from farm tools such as flax breaks, flails and hackles, along with prehistoric and early medieval finds. It aims to show how people lived in earlier times. A memorial site is part of the museum too.
