Heimatmuseum Beuel

Four buildings around a closed courtyard make up this local history museum in Bonn-Beuel, the oldest a barn from 1662. The displays run from Roman times to the present, with a whole floor given to Beuel's laundries, from hand washing to industrial laundry. There are also furnished rooms, an old schoolroom and a barber's shop. Outside you will find a herb garden, old gravestones and two aerial bombs. Volunteers offer guided tours.
