Heimatkundliche Sammlung Heideck

Eight rooms on the ground floor of Heideck's town hall hold tools, products and keepsakes from everyday life in earlier times. Themes include town history, kitchen, school, living and clothing, along with farming, traditional costume and pottery. The little schoolroom is the children's favourite, and the museum kitchen explains what a hay box and a range stove are. Painted chests and cupboards and a four-poster bed show how people once lived.
