Heimat- und Trachtenstuben Thierhaupten

This local museum in Thierhaupten shows how farming families once lived and worked. You walk through the parlour with its tiled stove, sofa and long corner bench, the kitchen with its dresser, pump well and cream separator, and the bedrooms. A retirees' cottage and a small cobbler's workshop are part of it. Together the rooms give a picture of everyday life on a mid-sized farm that fed the whole family.
