Heimat- und Hafnermuseum

Housed in a medieval tithe barn, this museum shows village life and the homes of a poor farming region. You will find a smithy, a wheelwright's and a cobbler's workshop, household and farm tools, and the town's first fire engines. Heidenheim's centuries-old pottery trade is represented by many old pieces. Scale models of the Gothic-Romanesque minster and the town's former Moorish Revival synagogue are a highlight.
