Gród Pobiedziska

A reconstruction of an early medieval Piast stronghold in Pobiedziska, on the Piast Trail, with a gate tower and other defensive elements. The permanent exhibition shows full-size siege engines, including an onager, a trebuchet, a mounted crossbow, mantlets, a 14-man battering ram and a siege tower. It shows how fortresses were once attacked. A miniatures park lies right next door.
