Friedhofsmuseum Hannover

Set within Seelhorst municipal cemetery, this museum looks at how Hanover has laid out its cemeteries and how people mourn and bury their dead. The exhibition covers cemetery planning, grave design and funerals, and explains burial and cremation. Guided tours run through both the museum and the cemetery, and readings and art shows are held here too.
